World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and enchantments.
They also offer bonus effects and improvements. They are available from the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus and an adjustment factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. item upgrading can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. Once the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon prior to any other gear, because it helps maximise DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, like an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, in loot drops or as quest rewards.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. In the majority of cases an item of armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. The majority of armor types can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by a small amount. However, certain upgrade components can give significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to enhancing the defense base of an item, a few upgrades also give special abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades can have effect that are passive and can be useful, such as reducing damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt will result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor with an initial defense range of between 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations has a powerful fair who can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The truth is that certain armors come with very substantial enhancements to poison or curse, fire, or magical damage reduction, making them invaluable for certain types of builds. There are other ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new level of effects from the potion and is able to be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potion also gains an individual color code, which the player can select by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a different brewing texture. The potion of weakness was added to the potion of healing in Creative inventory. This trinket at the moment will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor or items that are produced to aid in the elimination of the dangers in rooms.
This item, which looks like a eyes of a nymph is believed to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond merely decreasing your field of view. At its current level this trinket can increase the total health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and gives you the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will create a random impact on the trinket either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reorge the Trinket multiple times as often as you wish, however it will always have a different effect than the one it was when you forged it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by a small amount.
